Urology Guidewire
Neimor manufactures a full range of urology guidewires for ureteroscopy, PCNL, nephrostomy and DJ stent placement. Hydrophilic Guidewire
A hydrophilic guidewire combines a nitinol or stainless-steel core with a PTFE / hydrophilic polymer coating that becomes slippery when wet. It is the first-choice wire for navigating tortuous or strictured ureters because it slides through tight orifices with very low friction. Typical use: initial ureteric access, retrograde stent placement, ureteroscopy navigation. See ApexFlow™ Hydro.
Zebra Guidewire
A zebra guidewire is a striped (alternating black-and-white) hydrophilic wire whose pattern makes tip position and rotation visible under fluoroscopy and direct vision. Surgeons reach for it when they need accurate confirmation of how far the wire has advanced or how it is oriented at a branch point. See ApexFlow™ Vista Zebra.
Super-Stiff PCNL Guidewire
A super-stiff guidewire — usually nitinol-core with a PTFE jacket — is used to anchor the percutaneous tract during PCNL. The shaft resists kinking under serial or balloon dilator pressure while the floppy tip remains atraumatic in the renal pelvis. See ApexFlow™ PCNL.
Hybrid Guidewire
Hybrid wires combine a stiff shaft with a hydrophilic tip — a single wire that both navigates the ureter and supports dilator passage. We can OEM hybrid configurations on request.
