Ureteral Stent (DJ Stent)
A ureteral stent — also called a double-J stent, DJ stent or pigtail stent — is a flexible polymer tube that holds the ureter open and lets urine drain from kidney to bladder. Neimor produces a full DJ stent family under the DynaCore™ brand, optimized for placement, retention and patient comfort.
Standard Double-J Stent
Soft-tip pigtail stent, biocompatible polyurethane, multiple lengths (22–30 cm) and diameters (4.7–8 Fr). General indication: ureteric obstruction relief after stone surgery, post-URS, post-ESWL, hydronephrosis. See DynaCore™ Ureteral Stent.
Triangular DynaCore™ Delta™
Triangular cross-section reduces stent migration and lowers wall contact area — clinically associated with less encrustation. See DynaCore™ Delta.
Anti-Reflux DynaCore™ AR™
One-way valve mechanism reduces reflux of bladder urine to the renal pelvis on voiding, easing flank pain that some patients report with conventional DJ stents. See DynaCore™ AR.
Gradual Tapered Stent
Smooth taper at the bladder end for easier insertion through the ureteric orifice. See DynaCore™ Tapered.
Sizing guide
Length is selected by patient height (typically 22 cm for ≤170 cm, 24 cm for 170–180 cm, 26 cm for ≥180 cm) and confirmed by direct ureteric measurement. Diameter is chosen by ureter caliber and indication.
